Adjunct professors at Saint Michael’s College, in Vermont, voted on Monday to form a union, according to a news release from the Service Employees International Union. The vote came one week after adjuncts at two other Vermont colleges voted to join the SEIU as part of its national campaign to organize part-time professors. Forty-six adjuncts at Saint Michael’s voted in favor of unionization, while 26 voted to oppose it.
