Harvard University’s chief financial officer has announced he is
leaving, making him the second prominent administrator of the
university’s finances in just two months to announce plans to leave.
Dan Shore, who has been CFO for six years, will leave the university
next month for a position at a startup company. Last month, Jane
Mendillo, the head of Harvard’s $32.7-billion endowment, announced she
would leave the university for personal reasons.
