Harvard’s CFO Will Leave University for Start-Up Venture

Harvard University’s chief financial officer has announced he is leaving, making him the second prominent administrator of the university’s finances in just two months to announce plans to leave.
Dan Shore, who has been CFO for six years, will leave the university next month for a position at a startup company. Last month, Jane Mendillo, the head of Harvard’s $32.7-billion endowment, announced she would leave the university for personal reasons.
